We’re proud to re-stage our Austin Remembers: MLK digital event for the third year. As in past years we’ve set our augmented reality digital installation at multiple sites. You’ll find 3 different installations at the Texas State Capitol’s southern grounds. You can find a list of our augmented reality sites for this event on our augzoo blog.
We’ve also shared credits and citations of this event’s related content on our blog.
The multi-location event starts MLK Day with a special live event occurring at the Carver Museum. As part of the live event, we’re inviting the community to record oral histories on their thoughts of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. These recordings will be edited and become part of an updated event that will run through Black History month at the Carver Museum.
This project is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department.
