augzoo® is excited to be featured in a recent article by Michael Mares Mendoza from the Texas Immersive Institute (TXI), a program within the University of Texas at Austin. The article, Bringing Communities Together Through AR, highlights augzoo’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, education, and innovation through augmented reality (AR).

Our latest projects focus on enhancing civic engagement and supporting the arts, with notable initiatives such as the revitalization of a voter education experience for first-time voters. In collaboration with El Concilio of East Austin, this AR project aims to empower new voters with essential knowledge on the voting process.
We are also thrilled to partner with the University of Texas’ Visual Arts Center (VAC) for the relaunch of Adrian Aguilera’s East: Sun – Rise AR Intervention (2022), an AR experience that explores gentrification in East Austin through archival photography.
Finally, augzoo is furthering its impact in local STEM education by collaborating with educational institutions to create immersive AR experiences that bridge the gap between science, technology, engineering, and the arts.
augzoo continues to push the boundaries of AR to engage and inspire communities, and we are excited for the transformative potential of these upcoming projects. Stay tuned for more updates and join us on our journey to innovate through augmented reality.
