This augmented reality digital installation features founding contributors to the Austin Music Scene who share their their experience through oral histories. The unique installations can be found opening this event through the augzoo app at Austin City Hall, Vic Mathias Shores and on the sidewalk aside Threadgill’s old Barton Springs location, the spot of the historic Armadillo World Headquarters.
The installations features artwork and commentary from Armadillo World Headquarters’ Poster Artist Micael Priest who perfected the “cosmic cowboy style” of graphic poster art, featuring commentary and video of Austin, Texas Video producer and bar proprietor, “Hank Sinatra”, and commentary from Writer & Columnist of early Austin Live Music and an original founder SXSW: Edmund “Ed” Ward.
