augzoo's first official augmented reality event on our flagship app featured a tribute to former Austin, Texas Mayor Gus Garcia curated by co-founder Michael Mendoza. The AR digital installation features geolocated audio excerpts from the former Austin Mayor along with photos licensed from the Austin History Center.
While using the augzoo app open the "Gus Garcia Tribute" in front of Austin City Hall and at the Gus Garcia Recreation Center in East Austin. Each location has various audio excerpts relating to the location shared through Garcia’s own personal oral history.
